On the occasion of April 22 – World Earth Day, the volunteers of the Project “Forest tale”, funded by the European Solidarity Corps. The project is designed and implemented by the Association of Youth and Volunteer Organizations in Bulgaria / AYVO / which unites 17 NGOs. Volunteers call on us in 12 different languages to be responsible and to protect the planet.

Earth Day was first officially celebrated on April 22, 1970 in the United States and Canada. Millions of North Americans are participating in the demonstration and are urging politicians, statesmen and businesses to include environmental protection in their priorities. In 1990, the feast of our planet was declared international, and Bulgaria joined in its celebration in 1993. The goal is to unite the people of the planet in environmental protection.
