This short-term ESC project enables volunteers to participate in our organization’s activities and cooperate with other institutions in order to organise local events. The project will take place in the town of Kazanlak (Bulgaria) and Srednogorovo village.

The project will focus on:

• Outdoor activities at the eco-centre “Green Europe”, including the use of eco-technologies such as composting and upcycling, as well as repairing items, painting, and creating walls from old car tires and natural resources.
• Strengthening land masses, mulching, planting, and taking care of different crops and trees, as well as building dikes.
• Organising discussions in local schools focused on ecology.
• Shooting and screening eco-themed movies.
• Organising events with the local community.
• Cleaning nature by collecting trash in the surrounding areas.
• Collecting plastic bottles and caps for a local campaign
• Take part in the ‘Eco Academy’ for kids aged 7–11 years
