Commemoration of Volunteer Day at the Bay Ganyo Museum

In the Bay Ganyo Museum in the village of Enina, the official ceremony for the “Missions” awards by the United Avantgard Artist association took place. The event coincided with the International Volunteer Day and, for the fourth consecutive year, brought together volunteers, partners, and friends of the causes promoted by the organisation. The space in the museum is shared between the two organisations – United Avantgard Artist and the Youth Development Center Mutual Aid. The first joint event at this location was held only a few days ago on November 19, 2025, highlighting the new partnership and shared efforts to promote volunteerism and active civic engagement.

Volunteers from United Avantgard Artist and the Youth Development Center Mutual Aid, part of the European Solidarity Corps program, showcased their work, projects, and activities in support of local communities in Egypt, Turkey, and Bulgaria. One of the long-standing volunteers from the Youth Development Center Mutual Aid shared her life experiences in Japan and compared Bulgarian and Japanese architecture through photographs.

A joint video titled “Let’s Clean Bulgaria,” featuring the song by Nadia Toncheva and youth organisations, was also screened.
