NGO “Youth Development Center – Mutual Aid” announces the end of its second campaign “Caps for Kazanlak” for the year of 2020. Fo yet another year the organization collected plastic caps in partnership with “United avangrad Artist”, kazanlak.com and the Regional Environmental Inspectorate environment and water – Stara Zagora, as well as the company that agreed to hand over the caps ‘Rekotub EOOD, Kazanlak”.

The processing of caps, in addition to protect Mother Nature, also conveyed us the amount of BGN 500, at the end of 2019 which is equal to 1 ton and 100 kg. Plastic caps, which was used to “beautify” buildings in the Municipality of Kazanlak. It was utilized to purchase materials for painting buildings that needed to be refreshed with the help of volunteers from two NGOs. You will recognize them by the roses. One of them is at the center and is emblematic of our city. In it, since 1975, the citizens of the city of the rose buy mekis.

After the successful completion of this year’s 2020 campaign, the volunteers of the youth organizations at the end of February received a second cheque in the amount of BGN 500 from the owners of Rekotub EOOD, Kazanlak, and will have the opportunity to utilize the funds for the Eco Festival activities, 2021. The cause was focused for young peoples up to 30 years of age in order to participate in international training or to continue funding for a  building painting campaign.

The volunteers also filmed a video to follow the process of utilizing the plastic caps in the factory owned by the company.
