A Day in My Life as a 21-Year-Old Volunteer: Cleaning Up, One Bottle at a Time
Every day, I go outside with one goal—to collect plastic bottles and help the environment. It may seem like a small thing, but for me, it’s important.
I walk through parks and streets, looking for plastic waste. Many people don’t notice it, but I do. Plastic pollution is everywhere, harming animals and nature. If I don’t pick it up, it will stay there for years.
I work with volunteer groups and environmental organizations. Together, we clean public places, teach people about recycling, and find ways to turn plastic waste into something useful. It’s not always easy, but it feels good to see a clean space after our work.
Some people think picking up plastic bottles doesn’t matter. But I believe small actions can create big changes. If more people help, we can make a real difference. That’s why I want to share this idea, especially in my country.
At the end of the day, I feel proud. I know I did something good for the planet. And tomorrow, I’ll do it again—because every bottle counts.
