NPA YDCMA – Would you like to travel abroad and have fun?

YDCMA, located in the town of Kazanlak, gives you this opportunity through Activity 2 – European Voluntary Service of the European Union, under which the organization is accredited 2009-BG19 by the National Center for European Youth Programs and Initiatives.

What is the European Voluntary Service (EVS) ? EVS supports young people interested in volunteering. The organization aims to make young people more tolerant o one another and support the creation of a social unity. It promotes active civilian participation, and mutual understanding.
These common objectives are achieved through:

  • Supporting the participation of the youth in different forms of volunteering in and out of the EU
  • Giving young people the opportunity to do their part by doing different voluntary activities on European and international level.
  • Including youngsters in projects and activities that promote solidarity among people
  • Engaging young volunteers in non-profit activities that benefit the society of a country they don’t live in.

The EVS is a an educating process that gives you the opportunity to obtain skills that help you in your personal , educational and professional development through informal education. The project itself consist of an educational process that benefits both the volunteer sand the organisations hiring them.

Who can apply?
The EVS is open to anyone between the ages of 18 and 30, no matter their origin, so long as they are legal residents in a partnering country or a country that participates in the program.
Our priority is working with disadvantaged young people, including disabled ones. Therefore we work very hard in order to undertake different initiatives. EVS is open to these people between the ages of 16 and 30 only as long as a competent and precise preparation is guaranteed, as well as intermediate control and follow-up actions.

Between 1 and 100 volunteers can take part in every EVS project and activity.

Duration
The minimal Duration of the EVS activities abroad is 2 months and the maximum – 12 (without the evaluation and assessment periods).

Every volunteer can participate in only one EVS activity. Those who want to apply must write their own autobiography and motivational letter. You can get more information by emailing info@ydcma.org
