BULGARIAN DELICOUSЕS
During my first week in Bulgaria I tried some local food such as banitsa, the famous Bulgarian pastry. However, this Sunday was the first time me and Ahmed – the other Yemeni volunteer had our first time having an extremely complete and enjoyable dining experience. Actually I did not expect that much of lovely taste as I thought that most Bulgarian food contain Pork which I don’t eat it.
We had a delicious feast with 6 different traditional dishes – mish mash, kavarama po kazanalashki, parlenka, and tarator – just to name a few. The taste was astonishingly good, each meal was unique and we could not stop ourselves from devouring the food at Magnolia.
As the evening passed by, we enjoyed every single thing – the music, the food, the tea, and obviously the whole place with its wonderful atmosphere. The hospitality and kindness of the restaurant owner made us feel comfortable and at home.
